1 Travel light as much as possible.
2. Your day bag should not weigh more than 7-8 kilograms.
3. Use good sunscreen even if it's cloudy.
4. Stay hydrated, Oral Re-hydration Salt (ORS) is your best friend during the trek.
5. Keep your pace as low as possible, no need to run because it's not a race. take short breaks and enjoy the views around you.
7. To avoid blisters on your feet and toes, wear two sets of socks one light liner and another woolen.
8. Don't avoid food and water. You need energy to for such long hikes.
9. Sleep early at night, for stargazing you'll have nights before rest days.
10. Guides and porters are always there to help you, be kind to them. They know more about the trek, therefore, follow their instructions. Ask questions regarding each day's plan.
11. Stay on the designated path especially on glaciers, if you are off the track wait for porters or guides and follow their lead.
12. Most important one is "Don't litter on the trek".
