University of Chitral Annual Sports Week 2021 concluded.
The annual sports week of the University of Chitral culminated on 13th November 2021. The concluding events included Cricket and Football finals, which were played at the Chitral Scouts sports ground in front of a large crowd of students, staff, and armed forces personnel. Political Science Department clinched the title in cricket beating English Department by 15 runs after a tough fight. While after a nail-biting contest Tourism & Hotel Management department won the football final against the Political Science department by 2-1. The award distribution ceremony will be held in the campus very soon. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah, in his telephonic message, congratulated the winning teams and conveyed his thanks to the Commandant Chitral Taskforce for extending full support and cooperation in organizing the event successfully.

چترال یونیورسٹی کا سالانہ کھیلوں کا ہفتہ 13 نومبر 2021 کو اختتام پذیر ہوا۔ اختتامی مقابلوں میں کرکٹ اور فٹ بال کے فائنل شامل تھے، جو چترال سکاؤٹس سپورٹس گراؤنڈ میں طلباء، عملے اور مسلح افواج کے اہلکاروں کے ایک بڑے ہجوم کے سامنے کھیلے گئے۔ کرکٹ میں پولیٹیکل سائنس ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے سخت مقابلے کے بعد انگلش ڈیپارٹمنٹ کو 15 رنز سے ہرا کر ٹائٹل اپنے نام کر لیا۔ جبکہ ایک کیل کاٹنے کے مقابلے کے بعد محکمہ سیاحت اور ہوٹل مینجمنٹ نے پولیٹیکل سائنس ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے خلاف 2-1 سے فٹبال فائنل جیت لیا۔ ایوارڈ تقسیم کرنے کی تقریب بہت جلد کیمپس میں منعقد کی جائے گی۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظاہر شاہ نے اپنے ٹیلی فونک پیغام میں جیتنے والی ٹیموں کو مبارکباد پیش کی اور کمانڈنٹ چترال ٹاسک فورس کا شکریہ ادا کیا کہ انہوں نے ایونٹ کے کامیاب انعقاد میں بھرپور تعاون
